that's how you get there

How To Get There

Go to the end of the path until you get to the gate.

Go through the gate and head straight out towards the horizon.

Keep going towards the horizon.

Sit down and have a rest every now and again.

But keep on going. Just keep on with it.

Keep on going as far as you can.

That’s how you get there.

- Michael Leunig

Thank you Ailsa for sharing this with me.

Happy weekend everyone :D

PS: I crossed the 30,000 word threshold for the novel I started in May last night.

So much unravelling. And such a different feeling with this one.

Love this.

30,000! What a milestone to reach. I have to have 10,000 by November and I'm struggling to get past two thousand. I'm going to use you as inspiration - thanks! :)

That is so lovely, and the picture you have put with it is just gorgeous.

30,000 - whooot! Way to go Phil, I can't wait till I say I have 1,000 words and then build from there.

Looking forward to adding your book to my 100 must reads!

First: that's a spectacular photo. Second: 30,000? FANTASTIC!!!! Imagine how far you'll get in the next four months without a wedding in the middle!

Thanks for sharing the poem, Phil, and for the link. I'm new to the blog world, and it was such a treat to feel "connected." Hope you've enjoyed being a "tester" as much as I have. And CONGRATULATIONS on 30,000. Does that feel like half way? More? Less? How long is a piece of string? Whatever, you will get there. Keep on going...
