she may contain traces of nuts

I don't remember where I found this, but obviously liked it enough to save it to my desktop, which I'm clearing out :)

There's not a lot to report, hence the silence! I've just been training like a madwoman, spending weekends either doing long runs or going all over the country for races, managing to keep my full time job (!), keeping my creative fingers in all the pies I have them in (freelance stuff, etc), and catching up on sleep in between! But in 3 weeks the marathon will be over, and then there will be another marathon of a different kind waiting for me......to see if I can make my goal of getting my first draft finished by my 30th birthday! Having run a 16 mile race on Sunday I'm in a place where I don't think anything is beyond me, so we'll see!

How are you all going?

Best of luck with the rest of the training and with juggling everything else around it! I've been keeping up with your training updates at your other blog, and it sounds like you're doing spectacularly well!

Aww, thanks! It's been hard at times, but lots of fun x

It DOES sound like you're doing spectacularly - to be balancing so many things, particularly sticking with your novel.

I'm thinking of the end of the poem Berryman by W.S. Merwin. Do you know it?
"you can't you can never be sure
you die without knowing
whether anything you wrote was any good
if you have to be sure don't write"

I, for one, am sure your novel will be good, and I look forward to reading it!
